Remember the saying, “April showers bring May flowers”? I remember my mom always saying this when we would complain about all the rain as the weather in northeast Ohio would finally start warming up. It is my favorite time of the sports year. Opening Day for baseball, NFL Draft, The Masters, and of course, March Madness. As a sports fan, you can’t ask for a better month. Each of those events brings a new level of excitement to most sports fans and even to people who don’t like sports. But out of those, the one that has the most appeal to both sports fans and non-sports fans is March Madness.

Are We a “Scrappy Church”? (By Tim Hunsicker)

This Sunday is Saint Patrick’s Day, a day marked by many people talking about luck and good fortune. I have taken the simple stance that “luck is for rabbits!” If you don’t understand, just think about the superstition that a rabbit’s foot brings good luck to the one who holds the foot, obviously not to the rabbit who lost the foot!
