sunday morning

 nursery care
We provide loving, well supervised childcare for newborns up to age 2 during all of our regularly scheduled worship services.
sunday school
On Sundays at 9:30am, children ages 2 through grade 6 have an opportunity to discover and respond to God’s truth and how it relates to them at their age, in a small group setting.This area is vital in the life of every child, as it gives the biblical foundation needed in every area of life.
“Deep 56” class is offered to fifth and sixth graders who want to dig deeper in God’s Word and desire to learn to serve. This is open to children who have finished New Life Class, attend Sunday School regularly, and complete an application when a new “Deep 56” series begins. It takes two years to complete the course.

Children age 2 through grade 4 attend Children’s Church at 11:00 a.m. in the winter and summer quarters. Children’s church provides activities which may include singing, a Bible story, craft, refreshments, recreation and other activities that bring God’s Word to life.
children's choir
Children love to express their faith in song. We have two children’s choirs that meet on Sunday mornings during our 11:00 a.m. worship service during fall (September through November) and spring (March through May). Children ages 4 through kindergarten sing in the Sonburst Choir, while children in grades 1-4 sing in the Creation Choir. Children ages 2-3 remain in Children’s Church. Both choirs occasionally sing in our worship services.
 treasure cove
The Treasure Cove room is the hub of our ministry to special needs children. This room is designed to meet the needs of children through elementary age. As they are surrounded by many of God¹s treasures, children will hear about the greatest treasure, Jesus. Our trained volunteers lovingly care for each child, while sharing truths from God¹s Word. Join us every Sunday in Treasure Cove (B-1) at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

new life classes
This 6-8 week class is offered twice a year during 11:00 a.m. churchtime for children who are interested in Christian growth, baptism, and/or church membership. Basic subjects covered include salvation, assurance, growth, forgiveness, living as God’s child, the function of the Trinity, sharing personal testimony, communion, and the local church. |
worker screening
The safety of your children is of utmost importance. All of our children’s and youth workers go through a screening and approval process before serving at our church. |

New Life Class begins
meets in C-5 once children are dismissed from 11:00 service
New Life class is for children interested in baptism, church membership or knowing how to grow as a Christian. The class is 6-8 weeks in length. Parents of first and second graders are asked to attend with them. Bring a Bible and a pencil. Sign up in the church office. |

 PowerZone56
This is a unique ministry for our fifth and sixth graders to get plugged in to God’s power. Special SuperCharge events as well as opportunities to serve are just a few of the extra privileges for this age group.
sonshine and gang
This puppet ministry is a team of teens and adults who love to relate Bible truths in a creative way. For those who want to join the team, applications as due the second week in September. Rehearsals are held on several Sunday afternoons a month from 4:00-6:00pm. Outreach opportunities, as well as church ministries, are part of our yearly schedule.
special events
We offer many special events for children throughout the year, including Vacation Bible School, the Fall Family Festival, Kids’ Days Out, camp opportunities, and Children’s Christmas and Easter services.
