DAN BARFELL
 
Dan Barfell came to PHBC in July 2003 after 16 years of ministry at churches in southern Ohio, Florida, and a Christian school in Indiana. He is a graduate of Cedarville University and received his M.A. in Ministry from Moody Graduate School. Dan and his wife Elena have 3 sons (Andrew, Eric and John) and 1 daughter (Kaitie). Dan’s number one ministry goal is to help people find and follow Jesus Christ. He loves to preach and brings messages that are clear, practical and biblical. He is energized by relating with people and his engaging, relational personality is contagious!

PAM SCOTT

Pam grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and has been blessed to serve in her home church for over 40 years. She graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Christian Education, and has had additional training in counseling. Pam’s desire is to create an atmosphere of love, fun and creative learning from God’s Word that will help equip children to face the world with Jesus as their Savior and guide. Her other passion is to see every person serving the Lord using their God-given gifts. People can experience great joy as they have the privilege of serving our awesome God.

Dan Adams grew up in Parma,
and his wife, Grace, was raised in Cleveland, so Northeast Ohio is home. They were married in 2001, and absolutely love serving Christ and His Church together.
Dan received his education and training from years of discipleship and ministry in his home church and Cedarville University, where he studied Pastoral Ministry. He began his ministry with PHBC the summer of 2010. Dan’s desire is to encourage families, and equip students to find and follow Jesus Christ.
Dan and Grace have three wonderful daughters – Alayna, Alexa, and Alivia.

KRAIG ANDERSON

The Andersons came to PHBC during the blustery snow and cold of January 2009. Kraig’s wife Kristin was his college sweetheart and they’ve been married since 1993. They have two fantastic sons: Michael and Tim. Kraig graduated with a degree in Music Education from Minnesota State University Mankato, and then began his career in music as a high school band director. He received additional music and theological training from the University of Minnesota and Bethel Seminary and gained “coach certification” (leader development) through Coachnet Global and the NAB.

TERRY ZERBY

Raised in southwest Michigan, Terry attended Cedarville University. While he studied the Bible for his major he met Sandy, who became his major study for the next 50+ years as his wife. They lived in Mansfield, Ohio for many years as Terry taught Bible classes in public elementary schools, became the director of Christian Education at Community Bible Church, worked with the teens, trained and directed visitation, and became the music director. In those years they raised their two boys: Shawn and Dan. They also have four grandchildren. Terry served at Community Bible Church for 32 years and then went on to pastor a small Baptist church. He came on staff at PHBC in 2000.

DAVE GRIFFEY

Dave was born and raised in Girard, Ohio, although according to him he has never grown up. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Taylor University, and a Master of Arts in Education from Malone College. He has served in Christian School Ministry for over 20 years at Christian schools in Willoughby, OH and Jacksonville, FL. His lovely wife is the former Mary Joan Barker of New Castle, PA, and they have three terrific sons – Logan, Lucas, and Evan. Dave wishes to see the entire church body at PHBC live out our Mission Statement: “To help people find and follow Jesus Christ.”

TIM H.
Director of Discipleship
 
Since elementary school, Tim has been a part of the ministry at PHBC. Tim received his Master of Architecture from Kent State University, married his wife Cara and began practicing architecture in 1994. They have two children, Madison and Jacob. Tim was a partner at one of Cleveland’s premier architectural firms, until he felt the call to serve God more with his life. In 2012, Tim left the partnership, and he and Cara were appointed by the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) Project Office division as a full-time missionary architect. Tim also serves on the PHBC leadership team in the area of discipleship and leadership development.
