Terry Zerby

After being raised in the fruit-belt of southwestern Michigan, Terry went to Ohio to attend Cedarville University. In his second year, he dated Sandy and they captured each other's hearts. A year and a half later they were married and then graduated together.

They moved to Mansfield, Ohio for Terry to teach Bible in "release time" classes in 5 public elementary schools for 11 years. During those years he was a Christian Education Director at Community Bible Church, worked with teens, trained and directed visitation, and directed the "Lay-Leaders Bible Institute". The last 17 of the 32 years in the church he was the music director.

Somewhere during those first 10 years in Mansfield he became a Buckeye fan. It was here that they raised their two boys, Shawn and Dan. Shawn, an OSU graduate, married a local girl and gave us two grandchildren. Dan, who graduated from Cedarville, married a Canadian he met in Korea while in the Army.

It is Terry's desire to help build God's Kingdom in our church in whatever capacity he can be used. The Senior Adults are his area of ministry where he seeks to help Seniors find and fervently follow Christ, and to help them finish their life on earth being strong in faith.
