Worship Choir
PHBC worship choir helps bring a spirit of celebration, praise and worship to our classic worship services and special events during the school year. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and is open to anyone high school age and above.
Worship Orchestra
PHBC worship orchestra provides preludes, offertories and vibrant accompaniment primarily during our 9:30 a.m. classic worship services and special worship events. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Audition is required for participation.
Classic Worship Teams
These groups lead our 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. worship services as well as occasional special events. All vocalists must be strong soloists and be able to learn music on their own. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 7:30 a.m. The primary instruments for this group are piano and organ. Audition is required for participation.
Contemporary Worship Teams
These worship teams lead our 11:00 a.m. contemporary worship services as well as occasional special events. All vocalists must be strong soloists and be able to learn music on their own. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The primary instruments for this group are electric and acoustic guitars, bass, keys and drums. Audition is required for participation.
Handbell Choirs
Melodies resonate with joy when our handbell choirs play. Our children, youth, and adult choirs minister regularly during the year at our worship services and special events. Handbell ringers must be able to read music. Rehearsals vary for each age group.
Children's Choirs
Children's choirs sing in Sunday worship services and present special musicals.
These choirs meet during 11:00 a.m. worship from September to December and March
through May. Sonburst Choir is for children age 4 through kindergarten. Creation Choir is for children in grades 1 through 4.
Drama Team
PHBC drama team periodically presents “slice of life” moments during Sunday services to enhance each week’s primary theme. Members of this group are also involved in seasonal productions.
