Fourth of July 2020 (By Shane Prewitt)

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage (Psalm 33:12).
    
The Fourth of July has always been one of my favorite times of the year. For one, it’s in the middle of my favorite season of the year. Some of my fondest memories from childhood revolve around family gatherings on the 4th, eating BBQ, swimming all day and watching fireworks at night. There is a special nostalgia that surrounds this special day.
