Our Savior On His Knees (By Jon Perkins)

This week, of course, is commonly referred to as Holy Week, the week leading up to Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. I can’t even begin to imagine what could have been going through Jesus’ mind this week. He knew on Monday what this week would bring. He knew that one of His closest friends would betray Him. He knew that another of His closest friends would deny Him not once but thrice. He knew that He was going to stand trial. He also knew that He was going to die and bring salvation to the world.

Don’t Miss the Hand of God (By Pam Scott)

I wonder how many days we go through in life that we don’t notice or realize how God’s hand is weaving us through each event along the way. I was reminded of that again just recently as I was meeting with a dear friend in a restaurant. At the end of the meal, I suddenly did not feel well (glad I got to eat first!). Within a matter of moments, I had totally passed out, which I have never done before in my life – that was a whole new experience.

Easter Offering Projects

Each year at Easter, the PHBC family gives above and beyond regular tithes and offerings for a significant ministry need connected to our facility.
 
This year, the Easter Offering includes two projects: the parking lot drainage and the Ridgewood house renovation. The goal to complete these two worthwhile projects is $20,000.
