It’s Time to Get Away (By Dan Adams)

Whether it’s because we wrestle with pleasing people, workaholism, or any other well intentioned excuse, we often find ourselves way too busy. I can’t tell you how many parents, with weary faces and maxed-out schedules, tell me they keep their kids busy just to keep them out of trouble. (I’m sorry to say, busy kids find trouble, too.)

Waiting… (By Jon Perkins)

The crowd was electric, just like it always is for a Los Angeles Lakers home game. Sold out crowd! Celebrities sitting courtside! Music blaring! Tip-off, and the game is underway. Nothing is out of the ordinary for this late season game. In fact, there were only two games in the season left. The game meant pretty much nothing to just about every player except Andre Ingram.

Baby Steps Go A Long Way (By Jon Perkins)

There was a popular comedy that came out in 1991 entitled “What About Bob?” It starred Bill Murray as a psychological patient of Richard Dreyfuss. The movie featured these two iconic actors of that day and is still wildly popular. If you haven’t seen the movie, it’s a story about how Bob (Bill Murray) follows Dr. Leo Marvin (Richard Dreyfuss) and his family on vacation. Of course, since it is a comedy, some hilarious situations, along with some conflict, and finally resolution, occur.
