In speaking to Timothy about his calling as a pastor, Paul reminded him of the confidence he could place in God for future plans.

    

    

Uncertainty and the unknown are two things with which we’re often not comfortable. It’s during times of uncertainty that our minds can wonder and wander to worst case scenarios. The unknown can tempt us to be anxious and afraid.

    

Earlier this month, I was on a retreat with 60 of our youth and leaders for an amazing weekend away at Stony Glen Camp. The weather was about perfect, the activities were fun and exciting, and the worship was powerful and engaging. It was a great weekend. I want you to know, we have a fantastic group students and youth leaders!

    

One day, Jesus was walking down the street and a guy came up to him and asked him this question: “Which is the greatest commandment?” (Matthew 22:36) This question was asked by a lawyer sent by the religious leaders who were looking for a way to entrap Jesus in his words so that He would condemn Himself and give them a reason to sentence Him to death.
