Striking Your Arrows
As we close out 2017 and look towards 2018, we are going to look at a short Old Testament story in the Bible that used a primitive weapon as a lesson for a king and can serve as a point of instruction and inspiration for us heading into a new year.

    This morning, we are going to learn that not only has Jesus saved us from the penalty of sin, but He is also saving us from the power of sin.

    Building a Lego “guy” isn’t necessarily difficult – the key is just having the right pieces. Once you get the right pieces, you can pretty much figure out how to build the “guy.” In order to build a life of godliness, as with any Lego creation, we have to have the right “pieces.” 2 Peter 1:5-7 lists the building materials that are indispensable to becoming Christ-like. Let’s take a look and see if we can make some progress in our discipleship process.
