    I don’t know about you, but sometimes I need to get my joy back! The Christian life is certainly a journey sometimes filled with ups and  downs, victories and defeats, accomplishments and failures, and highs and lows. But we need to find joy in the journey!

    In a world that has by and large lost its hope, the Christmas story reminds us that there is hope. There is hope because:
    - God can do the impossible.
    - Jesus saved us from the penalty of sin.
    This morning, we are going to learn that not only has Jesus saved us from the penalty of sin, but He is also saving us from the power of sin.

In a world that has by and large lost its hope, the birth of Jesus reminds us of this one game-changing truth: There IS hope!
